In-car lessons can be now be booked online.
Masks are required for all in-car lessons.
As our company responds to COVID-19 (coronavirus), the health and safety of our employees and customers remains our top priority. If you are visiting the office, please remember to follow the safety measures that are put in place.
The BDE classroom course has been replaced with an e-learning online course. Please visit our website at www.citydriver.com to register.
Any student who has completed the in-class portion of the course and is ready to start their in-car lessons are required to pay the $15.00 government certification fee prior to being given access to the student scheduling system to book their lessons.
At this time we are not offering vehicle rentals for road tests.
The MTO has officially extended the one-year completion requirement for beginner driver education students where without the extension, the course could not be completed in time.

Ottawa Driving School Courses
The complete beginner driver training course provided by Ottawa's best driving school, City Driver's Training, consists of 20 hours of in-class instruction, 10 hours of private in-car training for automatic vehicles or 13 hours of private in-car training on standard (manual transmission) vehicles plus 10 hours of home assignments for the driving course.
Road Tests
City Driver's Training can also assist you with your road tests. We can book your road test, provide you with a car to use and ensure you have the skills needed to pass by offering additional private in-car lessons through our driving school before your road test in Ottawa.
