Behind The Wheel
For drivers at age 16 – requires a Student Learner's Permit, a state approved six hour behind-the-wheel instruction with a licensed driving instructor, and a minimum of six months of supervised driving prior to road test. Permits must be purchased through a licensed driving school.

Top Driving teaches students the specifics of New Jersey’s Motor Vehicle Commission’s (MVC) Graduated Driver’s Licensing (GDL) Program and prepares them for their final exam as well as their lifelong journey there after.

- Our vehicles meet all safety regulations including functional seatbelts and dual-controlled brakes. Licensed and insured by the State of New Jersey while maintaining the highest quality of regular Checkups, Cleanups, and Tuneups.
- For your convenience – we are a door to door service provider. We pick up and drop off our students to and from their homes, schools, and workplaces. We are open 7 days a week, operating at reasonable hours to ensure a flexibility and availability in your scheduling. Call us today!
NEW JERSEY GRADUATED DRIVER LICENSE (GDL) LAW
- No driving between 11:01 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
- You can’t use cell phones, hand held video games or any other hand held electronic device
- You must be accompanied by an Adult Supervising Driver (at least 21 years old and licensed to drive for at least 3 years) in the front seat
- Only one additional passenger is allowed.
- Seatbelts must be worn at all times.
EXAMINATION PERMIT RESTRICTIONS
- No driving between 11:01 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
