About Us

COOP'S EVOC presents a two-day class comprised of classroom and hands-on driving courses. Join Certified Emergency Operator Course Instructors as they provide invaluable instruction focused on improving employee driving habits and skills to establish a safer working environment.

Participants must provide squad car. Two students per car please.

Day 1: course

Half day classroom, half day driving course.

Classroom instruction will cover:

Vehicle Dynamics and Emergency Driving
Crash Prevention and Statistics
Pursuit Policy and Pursuit-Related Case Law

Driving Course:

Low Speed Maneuvers:

Offset Lane Maneuver
Serpentine
Krause's Crash
Turnabout

Day 2: Course

Master Low Speed Maneuvers
Medium Speed Maneuvers

A. Evasive Steering

B. Controlled Braking

Challenge Course with both Low Speed and Medium Speed Maneuvers.
